Om quits B2 for GigaOM?
The planets are colliding, seas shifting — Dvorak fesses to goading Mac zealots, Scoble quits Microsoft, now Engadget pal Om Malik leaves Business 2.0 to devote all his attention to the fabulous GigaOM? I’d honestly be more surprised if it’s not true of OM — I’ve been waiting for this one for over a year. GigaOM is just way too good to be run part time, and he’ll be a web mag force to be reckoned with once he puts his weight behind it. (Some supposed VC cash ain’t gonna hurt, either.) Well played, Om! (Assuming it’s true, that is.)
