Wow! Thanks to Jimmie Geddes of Gadgets on the Go, I’ve found your blog. Didn’t even know about it until now.

Great! I’ve added it to my feed reader. I love Engadget being a gadget freak myself but without the money or the contacts or resources. As for the “pro” part, I doubt I will get there. Right now, it’s just a hobby or passion (or just typing frantically away at the keyboard as a therapeutic release) ;). It would be nice, but I won’t hold my breath. (A starving blogger wannabe).

Man, this makes me nostalgic! You’ve got it right, Ryan. Working at Engadget was damn hard, but, it was damn fun, too. And there’s nothing like getting hit with 100 comments an hour after you post something. Even if 99 of them are harshing on you, there’s nothing like that kind of daily contact with your readers.

I completely agree with that. That’s one of the great benefits of blogging – putting your work on display. I have friends that work for huge internet companies and they are slightly unhappy that their work will never be seen outside the company.
