Not that anyone should find this surprising, but I have like way, way too many gadgets around the house. Poor Veronica has to wade hip deep in boxes and gear (not that she dislikes it too much) but Spring is upon us and now’s probably as good a time as any to trim some fat and get rid of some excess toys. Seems only fair I should let the readers of my blog get first crack at it before I put this stuff up on Craigslist.

All gadgets should have all their original parts, cabling, packing, and boxes (unless otherwise noted). Almost everything is mint or near-mint. To price them I looked up the going rate on shopping sites and eBay and knocked it down a reasonable bit. I’ll even pay FedEx shipping! If you’re interested or have any questions, please hit me up at contact at ryanablock dawt com. Please, serious offers only. Payment should be made via PayPal or bank/cashier’s check. Onto the gadgets!

Acer TravelMate 3002WTCi – My former mobile Engadget workstation. I already owned four laptops when I got this one, but it was by far my favorite. I love this ultraportable. Really love it (and so does PC Mag). It’s incredibly small, very light (3.2 pounds), and even comes with two batteries. (Using the larger one this thing gets a LOT of run time.) It’s still one of the only devices in its class to actually offer a PCMCIA slot (3G!) and a proper Pentium M (1.7GHz) — no underpowered ULV chips here. It’s also got a 12.1-inch SXGA display, Bluetooth, WiFi, a media reader, 512MB RAM, XP, and a 60GB drive. I’m sorry to see this thing go but I just don’t use it very often anymore. Very light wear, otherwise pristine condition. Asking $1,000.

Pepper Pad (link) – First gen; I bought it to read eBooks and surf the web around the house, but I never use the thing! Brand new condition, almost never used. Asking $350, OBO.

D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router (link) – Got it as a replacement for a bad D-Link router, but by the time I got it I’d already moved on to another type. This thing is sick though, 802.11 MIMO, gigabit Ethernet switch, QoS, everything you need. Plugged it in once to confirm it was working. (It is.) Asking $125.

D-Link DWA-652 802.11n PCMCIA adapter (link) – Goes well with the DIR-655, but can be sold separately. Never opened or used. Asking $75, but will sell together with the router for $190.

MOTOPEBL, unlocked (link) – Matte black, never been used. A gift for being one of Paper’s Beautiful People. Looks ain’t everything though! Asking $125.

TiVo Series2 40 hour (review) – Veronica’s and my TiVo. We ditched our second HD DVR and upgraded to a Series3, so now away our trusty little Series2 goes! Goodbye, friend, we will miss you. Doesn’t include service. Asking $25 (mostly to cover packing/shipping etc.).

Rio Karma (link) – Dead. Jog wheel missing. God I miss this player. Probably salvageable for parts; includes player (what’s left of it), cradle, and adapter — no packaging. Make an offer!

I’ll tick these off the list as they get snapped up. Thanks for your interest!
