Bought ryanblock.com
Shortly after I started at Engadget in 2004 a registrar took ryanblock.com. Ok, fine, that was my own stupid fault, I should have owned it anyway. Well, it’s a mistake I can finally say I’ve corrected — it’s also easily the most begrudging $400 I’ve ever spent. Ever. But as readers probably know, I just couldn’t snag ry.an or blo.ck, so this is it! I think I should probably donate some money to the EFF or some other organization to neutralize my bad internet karma for supporting the squatting industry.

Hey, porn stars need domains too!
Congrats Ryan! :)

Ouch. I hope you don’t end up with buyer’s remorse. I guess in the end it’s the best move.
Are you going to move this site over there now, or use it for something else?
Good question. I guess I should probably move it over, right? Seems pointless to keep going at ryanblock.com when I have ryanblock.com.
