Thanks - D5
Didn’t get to wrap it up, so here’s day two of D.

Steve Chen and Chad Hurley: Missed most of their discussion, but didn’t shout at them for not having a private jet.
Philippe Dauman, President & CEO: Very enlightening discussion about content windows, how ads are going from print to online, and why Viacom is suing YouTube. I can definitely better see their side of things. Definitely insightful.
Colbert’s introduction for Dauman: Hilarious, especially when he begs for an iPhone, and points out how many friggin Steves there are (Steves Jobs, Case, Ballmer, Colbert… and Gates). Dauman gives permission on stage to run the video on the D site.
30 minutes later: Kara and Walt announce the Colbert video has already been taken down, courtesy of a call from Comedy Central’s lawyers.
RealPlayer 11 demo: Rob Glaser does his thing with their new video download software.
After of the demo: Walt, and Kara discover that it was a PR mixup, and the Colbert video goes back online.
Eric Schmidt: Doesn’t have an iPhone, hasn’t even held one. Yeah right!
Charles Simonyi: Dude’s been to frickin’ space. I asked Calacanis when he’s making the trip. “Not in this lifetime!”
Lunch: With Rob Glaser, and Don MacAskill (CEO of SmugMug), talking about, of all things, pregnancy / procedures. Alright.

See you next year, D!
