New York Times identifies my pal Fake Steve — Forbes’s Daniel Lyons

So it’s Daniel Lyons, apparently meaning Fake Steve is a senior editor at Forbes magazine. Namaste.

You know, I think that journalistic ethics might require a disclaimer that FSJ was bloghitting (a word that probably never needs to be spoken again) on your girlfriend, but that had nothing to do with you reporting about the piece that outted him. (I was going to put this on Engadget but considering some of the posts that this generated…well some folks apparently don’t have much of a sense of humor.
