In trying to think of something telling to say about the Nokia iPhone commercial I made, only one thing sprang to mind: the following four lines of an IM conversation with Engadget Mobile editor Chris Ziegler.

Me: I find it kind of crazy that I’ve managed to parlay being a smartass into a career.
Chris: Haha, a successful one at that.
Chris: But I mean, seriously… WTF were they thinking?
Me: I will never, ever know.
