When I first saw the picture I genuinely thought it’s a censored dog! (well, to be fair they are butt-naked all the time)

You’re right, not legos (as can be seen from the construction process on the linked page), but similar idea. Probably simpler with legos! Here are some lego dogs, and the problem is that they are not “pixelated” enough!

This Dog looks like Crysis, needs some DX10 Powerhouse and some 10x Anti Aliasing !!
