i am good at php, memcached and apc cache.
have great idea on scalability architectures, had done works based on it

but i havnt chked jquery yet

i like to work as a parttime, sory about full time and i am from far away in india :( ny probs?
you can keep only if u get your work output…

I love posting on things like this, and to be honest, I’m probably very skilled on just about everything you listed….Love to work, put 150%…no 200% into everything I do. Ive managed many large scale database interaction application projects and done a lot of css, js, xhtml development.

Life sucks though…I’m only 19…gimme a couple years and SF here i come!

Sounds like an interesting position. I’ve done quite a bit of PHP/MySQL work as well as the front-end XHTML/CSS/JavaScript/Actionscript/etc… but haven’t had much experience with PHP/MySQL caching. Good luck with filling the position – I’m sure you’ll find someone pretty quickly in this economy. If you’re ever in the market for a slightly junior level position…I learn quickly.

#4 – I think that’s a reasonable skill-set. I even think Ryan is selling the demands a little short. A certain gadget blog is one of the top sites on the Internet — with immense traffic. I imagine the technical brains behind the big “E” (or is it “e”?) know a great deal about all areas of development.

Ryan, if you ever consider a move to .NET (I’ll let you keep jQuery and MySQL) and the South…

Well, I didn’t say this person should be a DBA or anything, but it’s impossible to effectively build a complex web app without solid knowledge of all components of the system!

That seems like a lot of things for one person to be well acquainted with. Everywhere I have worked those skills have been split between front end and back end engineers. But I bet it would be a cool job. Good luck!
